My Story
I fell in love with making after learning leatherworking from a master saddler in Cumbria. Watching true craftspeople work, with care, precision, and intent, changed how I saw objects. It was about creating items that last and carry on their story.
I repair these items to keep them living, adding years to pieces already proven worthy.
Hadston Leather, founded in 2017, brings together everything I’ve learned. I see myself as a custodian, preserving well-made things so they can continue to be used, valued and carry their stories forward.
